Robert Tafel is a dental health care professional with decades of experience in oral health practice, education, and community engagement. In addition to dentistry, Robert Tafel has an extensive background in athletics and leadership, reflecting a lifelong commitment to discipline, service, and excellence across multiple fields. He was recognized as a highly competitive tennis athlete throughout his youth and early adulthood, and taught tennis as both an Assistant and Head Coach.
Robert Tafel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University before pursuing dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. This marked the beginning of his professional transition into dentistry, following earlier work in dental equipment sales and health care-related roles that gave him practical industry experience.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Ft Worth District Dental Society, the Dallas District Dental Society, and a Good Fellow of the Texas Dental Association. He is also a member of the Texas Business Leadership Council.
